Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup cream of coconut (such as Coco Lopez)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon rum (white or dark, to taste)
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the evaporated milk, cream of coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and rum.
  2. Blend at high speed until thoroughly combined, for about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the mixture into a glass bottle and add a cinnamon stick. Close the lid and refrigerate until well chilled.
  4. Before serving, shake the bottle and pour the coquito into small glasses.
  5. Garnish with ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick.
