Ingredients

  • Coarse salt
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 oz gin
  • 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed and strained is best)
  • Grapefruit wedge (to garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill a highball glass and pour salt on a small plate or bowl.
  2. Moisten the rim of the chilled glass with grapefruit juice or water, then gently dip the rim into the salt to coat.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour 2 ounces of gin into the glass.
  5. Top the gin with 3 ounces of fresh grapefruit juice.
  6. Garnish with a small grapefruit wedge and serve immediately. Enjoy!
