Ingredients
- 1 oz Mezcal
- 1 oz Fernet Branca
- 1 oz Pineapple juice
- 1/3 oz Agave syrup (or substitute with simple syrup)
- 1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Angostura bitters
Instructions
- If desired, prepare the garnish by sprinkling a teaspoon of sugar and 3-4 dashes of Angostura Bitters on a thick lemon slice. Use a kitchen torch to melt and caramelize the sugar, allowing it to spread out into a disc. Let it cool and then peel off the lemon.
- In a shaker, combine all the liquid ingredients.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake until the mixture becomes frosty cold.
- Strain the cocktail into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish the glass with the prepared lemon disc.
