Ingredients

  • Spice sugar* for rimming the glass
  • 1 oz blanco tequila
  • 1/2 oz mezcal
  • 1 1/2 oz apple cider
  • 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ginger beer, for topping
  • Garnish: diced red apple

Instructions

  1. Rim a Collins glass with spice sugar, fill with ice, and set aside.
  2. In a shaker with ice, combine tequila, mezcal, apple cider, and lemon juice. Shake until well-chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
