Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 oz rye whiskey
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp absinthe
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 lemon twist

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the rye whiskey, simple syrup, absinthe, Angostura bitters, and 3/8 cup of ice water.
  2. Chill the mixture until very cold, for at least 2 hours and up to 1 day.
  3. Divide the chilled mixture among rocks glasses.
  4. Garnish each glass with a lemon twist.
