Ingredients

  • 1 large Nellie's Free Range egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, to serve

Instructions

  1. Separate the egg and place the yolk in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk the sugar into the yolk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Mix in the milk, cream, and bourbon, then cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.
