A luscious and creamy Irish cream liqueur with a perfect balance of coffee, cocoa, and whiskey flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 2 teaspoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream, divided
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1-1 1/2 cups Irish whiskey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix instant coffee, cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons heavy cream until smooth.
- In a blender, combine the coffee/cocoa mixture, remaining heavy cream, milk, sweetened condensed milk, honey, whiskey, vanilla, and almond extract. Blend on high for 20-30 seconds.
- Transfer the mixture to a container, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
- For the best flavor, let it chill overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Shake well before using. This should keep for up to 2 months in the refrigerator.
