Indulgent Chocolate Malted Martini

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 (3.2 ounce) bars Chocolove 70% dark chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce creme de cacao
- 1 1/2 ounces dark chocolate fudge sauce
- 3 tablespoons chocolate malt powder
- 2 ounces half and half
- Dash of chocolate bitters
- Crushed chocolate malted milk balls for rimming the glass
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, and half of the chocolate. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the chocolate has melted.
- Remove from heat and add the remaining chocolate, butter, and vanilla. Stir until all the chocolate has melted. Set aside to cool completely before making the cocktails.
- Pour some of the dark chocolate fudge sauce onto a small plate and place crushed chocolate malted milk balls on another plate. Rim the glass in the sauce, then in the crushed malted milk balls to adhere.
- Drizzle some of the chocolate fudge sauce on the inside of the glass, then fill the glass with crushed ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, add a few ice cubes, vodka, creme de cacao, chocolate fudge sauce, chocolate malt powder, half and half, and chocolate bitters.
- Shake for 20-30 seconds, then pour into the prepared glass.
