Ingredients
- 1 grapefruit wedge
- 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 0.50 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon hibiscus simple syrup
- 2 oz white tequila
- 0.25 cup club soda
- Kosher salt for garnish
- 0.50 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Boil water in a small pot, then remove from heat and steep hibiscus flowers for 5 minutes. Strain out the flowers.
- Return the pot to the stove, add sugar, and heat until dissolved. Allow to cool before using.
- Rub the rim of a highball glass with a grapefruit or lime wedge and dip the rim in salt.
- Combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, and hibiscus simple syrup in the glass and stir.
- Stir in tequila, add ice, and top off with club soda. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
