Guava Peppercorn Fiesta Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon pink peppercorns
  • 3/4 tablespoon coarse salt
  • 1 1/2 oz guava nectar
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 3/4 oz dry curaçao
  • Couple dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • 1 1/2 oz reposado tequila
  • Pink peppercorns for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crush the pink peppercorns using a spice grinder or mortar and pestle. Transfer the crushed peppercorns to a small plate or bowl, and combine them with the coarse salt.
  2. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks-style glass and dip the rim into the peppercorn salt mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. In a shaker, mix the guava nectar, lime juice, dry curaçao, Peychaud's Bitters, and tequila. Shake well.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
  5. Garnish by floating a few pink peppercorns on top of the drink.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the fiesta of flavors!
