Ingredients

  • 1 sugar cube
  • 5 dashes cocktail bitters
  • 1 oz cognac
  • 4 oz champagne

Instructions

  1. Place a napkin over the top of your glass and position the sugar cube on top.
  2. Soak the sugar cube with the angostura bitters, then drop the cube off the napkin into the bottom of your glass.
  3. Pour the cognac over the sugar.
  4. Slowly pour the champagne inside (be cautious of fizz).
