Ingredients

  • 6 oz sweet red wine such as Moscato
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry)
  • 3 oz ginger ale

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen fruit and sweet red wine.
  2. Blend the mixture until the fruit is finely pureed.
  3. Add the ginger ale to the blender and pulse carefully to combine without overmixing.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the berry seeds, using a spatula to push the mixture through.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch freezer-safe dish and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  6. Once frozen, use an ice cream scoop to create frozen granules and fill a wine glass.
  7. Garnish with fresh berries and serve.
