Chile-Mango Shandy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lemonade
  • 1/4 cup mango juice
  • 1/2 bottle (6 oz) Corona Light Beer
  • Ancho Chile powder
  • Kosher salt
  • 4 lemonade ice cubes
  • Orange slice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup water, divided
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 1-2 lemons)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1/2 cup of water over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let it cool.
  2. In a pitcher, combine the syrup and remaining 1/2 cup of water. Chill until ready to serve.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of lemonade into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid.
  4. In a large pitcher, mix lemonade, mango juice, and Corona Light. Chill until ready to serve.
  5. Mix ancho Chile powder and kosher salt on a plate. Rim the edges of your glass with an orange slice and dip into the mixture.
  6. Place 4 lemonade ice cubes into your glass and pour in the Chile-Mango Shandy. Garnish with an orange slice.
