Ingredients

  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Whole Milk
  • 2 oz Vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tbsp Jamaican Dark Rum
  • 1 tbsp Bourbon
  • 1 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla
  • Pinch of Nutmeg
  • Pinch of Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Separate the egg yolk and place it in a mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar and whisk until creamy.
  2. In a saucepan, gently heat the whole milk and heavy cream until steaming, but not boiling.
  3. Slowly pour the warm milk and cream mixture into the mixing bowl with the egg yolk and sugar, whisking until smooth.
  4. Add the rum, bourbon, vanilla, spices, and vanilla ice cream to the mixture and whisk for 2 minutes.
  5. Strain the mixture into a serving glass and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve chilled.
