Ingredients
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tbsp Whole Milk
- 2 oz Vanilla ice cream
- 1 tbsp Jamaican Dark Rum
- 1 tbsp Bourbon
- 1 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- Pinch of Cinnamon
Instructions
- Separate the egg yolk and place it in a mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar and whisk until creamy.
- In a saucepan, gently heat the whole milk and heavy cream until steaming, but not boiling.
- Slowly pour the warm milk and cream mixture into the mixing bowl with the egg yolk and sugar, whisking until smooth.
- Add the rum, bourbon, vanilla, spices, and vanilla ice cream to the mixture and whisk for 2 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a serving glass and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve chilled.
