Ingredients
- 1 oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed, from about 1 lemon)
- 1 oz cardamom simple syrup
- 1.50 oz vanilla-infused rum (can substitute silver rum with 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract)
- 1.50 oz spiced rum (can substitute dark rum)
- 0.50 oz overproof rum
- 2.75 oz pear nectar
- Whole spices (for topping, such as star anise or freshly grated nutmeg, or a cinnamon stick)
Instructions
- Thinly slice a fresh pear for garnish.
- Combine all the liquid ingredients in a pitcher and stir well.
- If serving within the hour, add ice cubes to the pitcher; otherwise, refrigerate for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Fill a glass with crushed ice or pebble ice.
- Pour 6 ounces of punch into the glass.
- Garnish the glass with a few slices of pear, a few cardamom pods, and a whole star anise pod. Alternatively, use a cinnamon stick or freshly grated nutmeg.
- Serve immediately.
